RYZA Graffiti Street Art from South Africa |
RYZA Said about Graffiti Art in Africa :
The graffiti scene in South Africa is on point and as developed as most parts of the world. The scene initially started out slow at first and gradually became popular within a period of ten to fifteen years, and also like in any other country there are toys, kings and beef and battles which always keep the balance.

There are more graffiti crews and writers in the cities that in small towns around the country, the most active city of all is Cape town when it comes to full productions, exhibitions and graffiti-related business because there are more established artists and crews down there than in Johannesburg and Durban.

We have bomb crews and production crews across small towns and cities, though the Johannesburg bomb crews are more active on trains and walls than in Cape town and Durban unlike earlier because the mother city(CPT) has more by-laws now than in Johannesburg, and Durban has fewer writers and they do mainly highways and block busters.
